This makes it a unique wine touring region, a must visit for any wine lover. Rioja’s proximity to Bilbao and San Sebastian has attracted the exceptional combination of creative chefs and leading architects that makes a trip there one of the best you’ll ever have.

Bodegas Baigorri founded in 1996 had its first vintage in 2002. No expense was spared to create a winery that is also a major architectural landmark. A striking glass atrium hides a seven story winery .  It is however designed with a purpose – a completely gravity fed winery without a single pump to produce the best possible wines.
The Bodegas Baigorri vineyards are all within the Rioja Alavesa region among the finest region within the Rioja. Nestled in the foothills of the Cantabrian mountains, the wines of Rioja Alavesa have intensity of flavour with the elegance and structure required for years of cellaring.
